One day, I was trying to find some information on the web about L.A. Guns. Instead of immediately going straight to a search engine, I figured just pointing my browser to www.laguns.com would be worth a try. To my surprise, I found no tourdates nor pictures of pale over-tattooed rockers, but rather the webpage for some gun store!
Since domain names are registered on a first-come, first-serve basis, sometimes BandName.com gets snatched before that band gets it. So below I have compiled a list of 25 (and I know there are more) dot-com domain names that sound like they should be hard rock band sites, but in fact are not. Yes, that's right -- each website below is NOT in any way related to the band of its same name! As for where they actually take you, well, I've made hyperlinks of each name to give you the amusement of finding that out for yourself.
Now I can understand how some of these are common enough words that they'd get picked up early in the game. But I mean...dokken.com?!? Who would've thought?
