MORRIS TUCKER  was born roughly 1640 (www: 4 Feb 1641/2, Salisbury, England).
He was a cooper, brickmaker and schoolmaster. He married Elizabeth STEVENS on 14 October 1661
in Salisbury, MA (VR p501). She was born on 4 February 1642/3, daughter of Sgt. John Stevens
and Catherine _?_ (www: CODMAN). She died in childbirth on 16 October 1662 at Salisbury (VR p626).
He married second in 1663 Elizabeth GILL. She was born on 8 January 1646 (VR p117), daughter of John Gill and Phebe Buswell of Salisbury.
He married third Grace WOOLLEY. She was born in April 1666, daughter of Emanuel Woolley and Elizabeth _?_, widow of Jacob Lippincott who died 6 February 1689. Still in Salisbury in 1694, they migrated to Tiverton, Rhode Island by February 1700. He died on 23 September 1711 in Providence, and was probably buried in Charlestown, RI near (SSE of) Pasquiset Pond (cemetery #30). She died after Dec 1717.
JABEZ TUCKER  was born in Salisbury, MA on 5 February 1674/5, son of Morris Tucker
and Elizabeth Gill. He moved to Tiverton, RI with his father between 1694 and 1700. He moved from
Tiverton to Westerly (now Charlestown) by 1707. He died in 1724 (inventory 31 Oct, (We 2A:144,182))
and was probably buried in Charlestown, RI.
He married Rebecca KNIGHT of unknown parents before 1709 (EG Quaker records); maybe c. 13 Dec 1703.

SIMEON TUCKER  was born in Westerly (now Charlestown), Rhode Island about 1716,
son of Jabez Tucker and Rebecca Knight.
He married Sarah HALL on 1 May 1737 in Westerly/Charlestown (We 2:81) by
Sam Wilbur. She was born about 1720 in Westerly/Charlestown, the daughter of John Hall and
Elizabeth Ball. He lived at Gould Neck in Charlestown (then part of Westerly), RI. He died in
Charlestown, RI on 13 Nov 1790 (Diary for 16 Nov) (will dated 15 Dec 1785, mentions John [Ch 4A65,1B:12] ),
and she died in _ on 1 May 1799.
They were buried SSE of Pasquisett Pond (Charlestown cemetery #30 - no gravestone).

JOHN TUCKER  was born in Gould’s Neck in 1742/3, son of Simeon Tucker and Sarah Hall. He was in Charlestown, RI during the 1780s, possibly as late as 1790, and started a farm in the Perryville part of South Kingstown near that of Job Card before 1800. He married Alice CARD about 1772. She was born about 1754/55 in South Kingstown, the daughter of Joshua Card and Alice Clark of Perryville, RI. He died in South Kingstown, RI in 1806 (will dated 3 March 1806 and proved 9 June 1806 in South Kingstown mentions Joshua [SK 1B:311] ). She died in _ in 1813.

JOSHUA TUCKER  was born in South Kingstown?, RI in August 1775 (gravemarker)
(elsewhere April), son of John Tucker and Alice Card. He married Elizabeth CARD about 1795.
She was born about April 1774 (gravemarker) in North Kingstown, the daughter of William Card and
Mary Clarke. He died in South Kingstown, RI on 31 Jul 1856, aged 80yrs and 11m(gravemarker).
She died in South Kingstown on 28or30(gravemarker) November 1823 at 49y7m and was buried on
3 December (Hazard Diary).
Both buried in South Kingstown, yard 147, west of Tucker Pond.

JOSHUA A TUCKER, Jr  was born in South Kingstown, RI in June 1799 (gravemarker, census) the son of Joshua Tucker and Elizabeth Card. He married Sarah WHALEY about 1817-19. She was born about 1794 in _, the daughter of Joseph Whaley and Waity Holley. She died in South Kingstown on 9 May 1848, aged 54 (gravemarker) after a long illness.

He married second about 1851 (www: June 1850) Lydia WHALEY, sister of Sarah. She was born about May 1807 and died on 28 March 1878, aged 70yrs and 10m (gravemarker). He died in South Kingstown, RI on 9 July 1884 aged 85yrs and 1m (SkD 1:56 & gravemarker). All three are buried west of Tucker Pond in South Kingstown (cem. SK147) along with son, Nelson.

JOHN ALDRICH TUCKER  was born on 20 Sep 1820 (SKD 1:70), son of Joshua A Tucker, Jr. and Sarah Whaley. He was married to Delilla LARKIN (Delilah), daughter of John W Larkin and Deborah Hoxsie, on 6 March 1845 (SK 2:46) by Ezekiel Lock, pastor of Queens River Baptist Church in South Kingstown. She died before 1850 (not in census).

He married second Harriet Newell PIKE about Aug 1850-Jan 1851. She was born on 3 November 1831
(gravemarker, 1900 NK Census) or 1832 (D cert.) in Newport, the daughter of __?__ and Ann Elizabeth Pike.
Family lore says she was a sharp, quick minded person.
He died in South Kingstown on 16 July 1890 (SKD 1:70).
She lived for many years with her daughter, Ida, in Lafayette, RI and died after a stroke at the home
of her son William Gray in Narragansett Pier on 25 June 1909 (D cert.).
They are both buried at Oakdell Cemetery (cem. SK037) in Peace Dale, RI.
