676. Bolting through WV Not much, but at least a quick little “something” to get through WV!

N.B. As many letterboxers probably know by now, after planting well over 500 regular boxes, we have mostly gotten tired of leaving plastic containers out in the natural environment lately, so for the past few years, instead of actual boxes, we sometimes just leave in our wake small stones with stamps glued underneath that we call "travelin' lights". (Don't expect this to be a box!)

To grab this little “travelin’ light” at the speed of a lightning bolt, just pull in to the one and only rest area/welcome center on the short stretch of I-70 westbound in the WV panhandle and park near the far western end. Carefully cross the truck exit road to the cleaning station with two small guardrails. In the eastern side of the east guardrail is a small black angular stone masquerading as a bolt that fits into a little hole in the guardrail. Just lift the stone carefully out to stamp the WV on its back and then replace it into that same little guardrail hole. Now off you go!
