VDSL - Very High-Rate Digital Subscriber Lines

Currently there are very few companies implementing VDSL products. There are no reports of installations where VDSL is being tested, although Orckit Communications has performed some successful tests with their products.

• The First VDSL modem, by Orckit Communications Ltd., a Israel based company.

• Orckit's VDSL products.

• Amati Communications Corporation is developing a VDSL transceiver.

• Lucent Technologies produces VDSL chips [Tele].

• Broadband Technologies has some VDSL products.
