WPI -- Seven Years Later

On Monday 21 January 2002, the Martin Luther King holiday, two friends and I decided to take a trip back to Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), where we had all been undergraduates in the early 1990's. My friends, David "Dave" Fitts and Andrew "Drew" Rickard, found that many things had changed since our early days on campus, but some things had stayed the same. I took along two disposable cameras to record the journey; hopefully this account of our visit will allow our friends who couldn't make the trip to share a bit of the experience. It may also provide more recent generations of WPI students with some perspective of how things once were.

(Dave and Drew walk down a brick path,
their backs turned to the camera. Their shoulders are squared against the
spitting snow. Morgan hall, a long brick building, can be seen at the
 distant termination of the path.)

Dave and Drew cross the quad, heading towards Morgan Hall.
